When they arrive at Goodwill they:

Donations may be used to stock our internal clothing room where clients who have recently got a job might not have business attire and are allowed to choose up to a 5 - day wardrobe to get them started.

Donations may be used in our Electronic Waste De-manufacturing program which teaches trainees how to take apart computers into the component parts or our  Computer Works training program, where they are taught how to re-build refurbished computers from used parts.  

Donations provide low cost quality merchandise that allows people in the community to stretch their dollars.  Simply might generate revenue that supports Goodwill’s many job training, youth, and community programs serving thousands of people in Rhode Island.

Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
